Despatch offers a number of ovens suited for high performance burn-in and testing applications. These burn-in ovens and test ovens are designed to handle various load sizes and configurations while maintaining tight temperature uniformity and achieving repeatable results.
The PTC ovens offer high performance in a configuration well suited for burn-in and qualification testing of down-hole logging equipment. The nonmagnetic/non-conductive oven features a fiberglass oven body construction with fiberglass structure supports. It features high velocity vertical down airflow for uniform airflow even with varying load conditions.
Despatch’s LCC and LCD benchtop ovens are stackable to save valuable floor space and provide a variety of tailored options for specific sterilizing applications. Maximum temperatures are 260°C (500°F) for the LCC and 350°C (662°F) with the LCD. Air or nitrogen atmosphere configurations are available and a forced exhaust is standard on all models for rapid cooling. The stainless steel interior and exterior protect the work chamber from contamination.
RTS rapid thermal shock test ovens are designed for accelerated life cycle testing of semiconductor and electronic devices. Single load or double load capacity allows all tested devices to undergo the same temperature cycle conditions, cycle after cycle. Performs to MIL STD 883C and JESD22.
The PBC cabinet oven is ideal for multiple burn-in applications such as: high dissipation forward bias, high-temperature reverse bias, dynamic and static burn-in of IC, RAM, ROM, microprocessors and other semiconductor devices. Maximum operating temperature for this burn-in oven is 260°C (500°F).
The 900 series benchtop temperature chamber has a superior heating system with precision high/low temperature simulation. These units are ideal for small lot qualification testing, burn-in and life test applications. Maximum operating temperature for the 900 Series is 274°C (525°F).
The RBC stackable burn-in chamber’s flexible design, small footprint, easy-to-use controls and thermal dissipation features make it an ideal choice for small lot qualification testing, burn-in, reliability testing, and research and development. The oven is available in nitrogen atmosphere and the maximum operating temperature is 260°C (500°F).
Custom Burn-In Ovens and Test Ovens
Manufacturers of ICs, RAM and ROM modules, microprocessors and other semiconductor devices use ovens to test or burn-in their devices at elevated temperatures to identify early product failures and ensure long-term reliability. Many customized solutions are available to meet customer needs. We work with customers to provide custom controls, loading and unloading, cooling systems and more. Despatch also offers the standard model PBC/PNC Burn-in Chambers which are ideal for semiconductor burn-in and testing.
Despatch designed a custom LCC oven configured for Class A environments with the controls repositioned on the side of the oven. The front of the oven was attached to an isolation barrier to allow both the load and unload areas to be located in clean room environments.
